Your photos and records

PackProof is designed to store packing photos and optional order details on your device. Its proof workflow does not require an account or connect to marketplace accounts. The current proof workflow does not upload your photos, order numbers, tracking numbers, buyer details, or notes to a PackProof server.

Camera access

The camera is used to take packing and shipping photos. You can decline camera access, but taking new photos requires permission. Camera permission can be changed in your device settings.

Exporting and sharing

When you export a PDF and choose a destination in the system share sheet, that destination receives the file. Review all pages before sharing. Hiding a tracking field does not remove a tracking number or address visible inside a photo. Excluding label photos does not remove private information from other photos.

Apps and services you choose for sharing handle received files under their own policies. Deleting a record in PackProof does not delete copies previously shared or saved elsewhere.

Keeping and deleting records

You can delete records in the app. PackProof does not provide an in-app cloud backup or sync service. Removing the app may remove your records. Keep important exports separately. Device-level backup and migration are controlled separately by your operating system and settings.

Technical diagnostics

PackProof uses the DCloud uni-app x runtime, supplied by Digital Paradise (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd. According to DCloud's policy, the runtime can collect device and app information, network information including IP address, a randomly generated device identifier, error stacks, startup timing and memory use to investigate faults and performance. The identifier is not an advertising identifier such as IDFA. Available information depends on the platform and runtime version.

This is separate from PackProof's local photo and order workflow. We have not enabled user-behavior analytics. DCloud describes its handling and retention of diagnostic information in its App Engine Privacy Policy. Contact us with questions about this processing.

Support email and website visits

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you send so we can respond. Do not send buyer addresses, shipping labels, or unredacted proof files. You can contact us to request deletion of support correspondence; we will explain any information that must be retained.

This website does not use advertising, analytics scripts, cookies, or contact forms. Our web server records technical access and error logs, which may include your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser information and response status. These logs help operate and secure the website and are normally rotated over about two weeks. Hosting and email providers also handle information needed to deliver their services.

Purchases

PackProof is planned as a paid download with no in-app advertisements, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.
